Toyota has launched the GAZOO RACING CLUB to bring like-minded motoring enthusiasts together and celebrate their passion for performance driving, motorsports and Toyota’s rich performance car heritage.

The GAZOO RACING CLUB is designed to give car enthusiasts a deeper experience of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing brand and help develop a community where members can share their stories and experiences.

Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer John Pappas said the formation of the GAZOO RACING CLUB built on Toyota’s performance car heritage and would provide members with a platform to experience, learn, and share in, a common passion for Toyota’s performance vehicles.

“This club continues Toyota’s commitment to motorsport that started with the first international race Toyota ever competed at, here in Australia. We have been competing since 1957 when a team of two Japanese drivers and an Australian navigator took on the arduous Mobilgas Round Australia Rally in a Toyopet Crown,” Mr Pappas said.

“This club is a wonderful testament to that first step we took into motorsport and celebrates our relationship with those that consider themselves – like we do – true auto enthusiasts.

“Through the club, we can offer members a deeper dive into what TOYOTA GAZOO Racing and our performance cars are all about, through shared experiences, exclusive content, learning opportunities and more.

“Essentially, it’s all about celebrating the thrill of driving,” he said.

Club members will have access to a range of benefits including exclusive events, drive days and member-only areas at motorsport events such as the TGRA 86 Series and Australian Rally Championship.

They will also be offered exclusive content, club merchandise and special offers, discounts and club rates from Toyota, its partners and sponsors.

Prospective members can register their interest online at More information on membership of GAZOO RACING CLUB will be available from 1 February, 2021.
