Muscular, confident and streamlined look

Aurion is a car that gets noticed. A long wheelbase and wide track give the Aurion a bold, athletic stance – which ensures excellent handling. Add the aggressive lower bumper and strong accent lines, and you've got a car that looks ready to go places.

Not a traditional V6

Formula-One thinking and technology combined with refined comfort and a very smart design. Inside and out, Aurion defies tradition and raises the bar. Toyota's local design team have created a car like nothing else on the road. Climb into the driver's seat and feel the ergonomic comfort surrounding you. Start driving and feel the power and technology at your fingertips.

Luxury interior

Sophisticated and spacious. Once again, Aurion rewrites the rules. Soothing colour tones, moulded seats and premium trims give a feeling of luxury and space. Generous dimensions add to the roomy feeling and you’ll find ample legroom both front and back. All models come with air conditioning - including a pollen filter and steering wheel audio controls as well as power windows, door locks and mirrors.

Ergonomic comfort

Racing inspired interior – for comfort that goes the distance. Take a seat behind the wheel and you'll notice everything is just where you need it to be. The flowing, integrated dash wraps around you and your front passenger – a reflection of the performance inspired design. The adjustable power seat allows you to set your position to be just right. And all controls are in perfectly easy reach. That's ergonomic.

Optitron instrument panel

At-a-glance visibility means you spend less time looking down and more time looking ahead. The Optitron instrument panel is easy to read whatever the light outside. The advanced LCD display provides crisp contrast for quick visibility. Prodigy, Presara and Sportivo take the technology even further, with a multi-information display that provides data on the outside temperature, fuel range and consumption, driving time and average speed.

Premium audio acoustics

Crystal clear sound flows beautifully out of 6 speakers placed strategically throughout the car. Aurion's sophisticated sound system incorporates psychoacoustic technology for enhanced bass playback and a virtual surround sound experience. Plus, the technology subtly tailors the sound to compensate for the speed you're going – so it's always at its best.

PERFORMANCE

Quad-cam 6 cylinder 2GR-FE engine Aurion's quad-cam engine

is a powerhouse of intelligence and technical prowess, delivering 200kW with fuel economy of just 9.9L/100km.* Aurion's quad-cam, multi-valve 3.5 litre engine is perfectly balanced. It uses intelligent engineering, not simply sheer size, to deliver its 200kW performance. Plus the V6 is equipped with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) so you get enviable power, excellent fuel economy and lower emissions.

Dual VVT-i technology

Smooth and powerful, responsive and efficient - the perfect description of the 6-cylinder VVT-i engine. The Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) engine releases power according to your needs. It seamlessly switches to maximum power when you're overtaking or climbing hills but automatically adjusts to more efficient settings when you're cruising. That's why you get fuel economy and reduced emissions together with fantastic performance.

Dual-zone automatic climate control air conditioning

No fiddling with controls to get the temperature just right. Set a temperature you like and climate control will work to keep it constant. And the front dual-zone system means you and your front passenger can each set a different temperature – creating two separate "climates" in the same car.

Power and efficiency

All the power of a V6, without the thirst. Once again, Aurion breaks the mould. Aurion's 3.5 litre V6 engine delivers an impressive 200kW. Yet it only uses 9.9L/100km* of fuel and easily meets the tough Euro IV emissions standards. Auto-on projector-type headlamps

Incredibly effective headlights that look great and boost your night visibility as well. Light sensors automatically switch the headlights on in dim or dull light conditions. When they're on, the projector-type low-beam headlamps provide excellent light penetration, with forward visibility up to 80m.

Steering-wheel with audio controls

Controls at your fingertips. Aurion's steering wheel controls make managing your sounds and answering your calls a whole lot easier. With all models you can easily flick through radio stations or skip CD tracks without taking your hands off the wheel. With the Presara you also get steering wheel controls to make and answer your BluetoothTM^ -enabled hands-free phone calls.

Power rear sunshade*

Keep your back-seat passengers comfortable. Aurion's electrically-operated rear sunshade reduces direct sunlight entering the car through the rear window. Power it up or down according to the position of the sun. It'll automatically power-down whenever you shift into reverse.

Vehicle Stability Control & Traction Control

Advanced technology for split-second safety Every Aurion comes complete with a custom-designed package of Toyota's renowned Driver Assist Technology. The package includes Vehicle Stability Control - a fast acting computer-based intelligence that automatically controls skidding when cornering - and Traction Control, which minimises vehicle slippage when accelerating in difficult conditions.

AB-i: Active Braking with intelligence

Aurion's threefold braking system ensures you stop quickly and stay in control when it really counts. The Aurion's Active Braking with intelligence is designed to help you steer well clear of accidents. Its Anti-skid Braking prevents the wheels from locking up when you brake heavily. While the Electronic Brake-force Distribution gives you control if you need to swerve as you’re braking. Brake Assist steps in when you need maximum brake force.

6 SRS airbags

The Aurion is built to protect with front, side and full curtain airbags. Inside every Aurion is a passive safety system of 6 SRS airbags designed to protect the driver and passengers. In the front, 2-stage front impact airbags deploy in relation to the severity of the crash and front mounted side airbags cushion side impacts. In the back, full length curtain airbags shield passengers from side impact.

Active safety technology - reverse camera

Camera technology provides improved visibility when reversing A reverse camera is available for all Aurion models to improve rear visibility when reversing. On Prodigy, Sportivo SX6 & ZR6, the image is displayed on the new 4.3" Display Audio, while on Presara models the image is displayed on the satellite navigation screen.

INTELLIGENCE

Front and rear corner parking sensors*

No more bumps - parking sensors^ let you know when you’re getting too close. Two parking sensors at the front of the car, and two parking sensors at the rear*, come standard with the Prodigy, Sportivo and Presara. And for that extra peace of mind, a reverse camera is standard on the Presara and available for all other models.

* Standard for Prodigy, Sportivo ZR6 and Presara. ^ParkAssist and reversing camera are designed as driver assist devices only and should not be used as substitutes for skilled driving and safe parking practices. The area into which the vehicle is to be reversed must be visually monitored by the driver while parking.

Hands-free convenience with Bluetooth-enabled satellite navigation

Choose the Presara, and your 4-CD in dash CD/DVD player comes with built-in satellite navigation.# You'll pull over a lot less with the Presara. It comes with built-in satellite navigation# so you can say goodbye to maps and street directories. Plus, it's BluetoothTM enabled so you can make and receive calls via the sat-nav screen – or via controls on the steering wheel. BluetoothTM is available on other models through the audio system.

# Current Navigation mapping database encompasses major capital and primary national road networks, as well as offering some coverage of regional areas.

Rain-sensing windscreen wipers*

Aurion comes with wipers that automatically adjust to the intensity of the weather. Prodigy, Presara and Sportivo come with rain-sensing wipers that automatically adjust themselves to match the amount of rain and the speed of the car – so you don't have to.

6 disc in-dash MP3/WMA compatible audio system

Listen to the music you want to listen to All models feature a MP3/WMA/CD compatible system with 6 speakers and psychoacoustic technology for a deep, powerful sound, spread throughout the cabin. Sportivo and Prodigy models come with a 6 disc in-dash CD changer, while Presara has a 4 disc in-dash CD changer with the DVD Satellite Navigation package.

MP3 and USB connectivity* and wireless Bluetooth™ music streaming^

Plug and play your MP3s.* An audio input jack is incorporated into the Aurion’s sound system so you can easily connect MP3 players and USB memory sticks containing MP3 or WMA files. Just plug in the device, and play. You also get Bluetooth compatibility and wireless music streaming.*

Smart Entry & Start*

Aurion comes with keyless entry and a push button start Quick and convenient, the Smart Entry & Start system means if you have the key fob in your pocket or bag, you just need to touch a front handle to unlock the doors and press a button on the dash to start the car.

Toyota Link emergency communication system*

Get immediate help in the unlikely event of an accident or emergency. Presara comes standard with Toyota Link technology. It's a state-of-the-art satellite communications system# that gives you fast access to roadside assistance and emergency help. A hands-free microphone mounted to the car's overhead console connects you to a Toyota Link agent, 24/7. So you can drive safe in the knowledge that help's always on hand.*
