Australia's most popular AWD is now giving you more of what you want. RAV4 is now joined by the new RAV4 V6. The RAV4 retains its intelligent 2.4 litre twin-cam engine which delivers 125kW of power whilst the new RAV4 V6 is powered by a 3.5 litre dual VVT-i quad-cam V6 with 201kW on tap. They're both big and roomy with comfortable seating for 5 adults and a large boot that becomes even larger when the back seats are folded flat. RAV4 and RAV4 V6, they're designed uncomplicated, for no-nonsense fun.

Active 4WD enhances your control on all surfaces and improves fuel economy, so you can venture even further off the beaten track and know you'll make it home safely. Downhill Assist Control (DAC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) will take the challenge out of steep inclines. The Active Braking with intelligence (AB-i) including Anti-skid Braking System (ABS) will minimise your stopping distance without skidding or loss of control. And Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC) will assist you in keeping your cool on tough terrain.

Remarkably versatile rear seats

Create the seating combo to suit your passenger and cargo needs. The 60/40 split rear seats give you total flexibility. You can slide the seats forwards or backwards - whatever you or your passengers prefer - or even recline them individually. Versatility to take whoever you want and whatever you want, wherever you want to go.

Easy-flat system

Toyota's one touch easy-flat system makes it simple to get extra cargo space when you need it, not to mention easy access. Pull the lever in the rear of the RAV4 and the back seats will fold down flat, totally flat. You don't need to adjust any cushions or headrests, you don't even need to get in and out of the car. Very quick, very easy.

Lots of luggage room and extra hidden storage

For a compact SUV, the RAV4 is big on space with lots of room for you, your mates and your cargo. A new rear suspension design has maximised the cargo space in the RAV4, allowing for a concealed rear storage compartment. Take a closer look and you'll find an extra 80 litre storage compartment hidden beneath the floor - perfect for stashing valuables safely out of sight.

A choice of engines

With a choice of a 3.5 litre Dual VVT-i V6 delivering over 200kW of power, or an economical 2.4 litre VVT-i 4-cylinder engine, you can leave the big smoke far behind and head out to the great outdoors and choose your own adventure.

Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control

Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC) work together for a smoother, safer drive. VSC automatically adjusts the engine output and the brake force of each wheel to counteract under or oversteering when cornering. TRC prevents the wheels from slipping when accelerating in difficult conditions - such as on wet or gravel roads - assisting you in keeping your cool on tough terrain.
